Spectroscopy technology and instrument is a new technology combing optical technology, electronic technology and computer technology, which is an important branch of optics. This course provides students has important application in the fields of spaceflight, deep space exploration, exploration of resource and geohydrology, military, metallurgy, geology, petroleum, chemical industry, medicine and hygiene, meteorology, environmental hygiene, food and drug. The course is established for undergraduate to learn the newest development trend of spectroscopy measurement technology, to study main concept and theory of spectroscopy, the principle and methods implementing spectroscopy, to understand the general instrument and system of spectroscopy, to know routine spectroscopy analysis method and its important application. The goal is to delivery the knowledge of spectroscopy technology, construct the foundation to design spectroscopy instrument (or system), to train the research ability on the practical questions.
